Mumbai captain, Wasim Jaffer, will lead the Mumbai team against the Rest of India (ROI) team selected for the Irani Trophy and led by Virender Sehwag.

The most conspicuously absent member of the Mumbai team will be Amol Mazumdar who has decided to play for Assam. Abhishek Nayyar will also not feature in the competition because of his presence with team India in South Africa for the ICC Champions Trophy.
