Former New Zealand cricketer, Mark Richardson, has once again raked up the issue of chucking and that too, with Muttiah Muralitharan involved.

It is the timing of the New Zealand's tour to Sri Lanka that set the cat amongst the pigeons for Richardson. He states that after watching replays of Murali's action, he feels convinced that he is not complying with the fifteen degree rule of the ICC.
Martin Crowe, the former New Zealand captain, had earlier slammed Muralitharan stating that he was chucking. But Richardson has a degree of sympathy for Murali stating that the Sri Lankan spinner was doing what he does best, and that the ICC has been mistaken by checking Murali's action in a lab and not in a high pressure environment.
More cause for debate? Absolutely.
