Muttiah Muralitharan is once again reiterating what he stated more than eight months ago. Muralitharan believes he will only plan one or two Test matches in the home series against the West Indies before he will hang up his boots, in Test cricket that is.

The man, who is contracted to the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and set to feature in the IPL 3, though wants to play one day cricket at least until the 2011 ICC World Cup.

On a tangent, he is reported to have stated that he has forgiven John Howard, the former Australia prime minister, who is now in the running for the post of the ICC President, for calling Muralitharan a chucker.
