Ness Wadia, who bought into the Mohali team alongwith then girlfriend and Bollywood actor, Preity Zinta, felt that Lalit Modi was found guilty by the media even before he could make a case for himself, "Of course I miss Lalit, I have known him for 25 years. All the franchisees miss him and I think he was hung without a trial by the media. We miss Lalit Modi. It was different (when Modi was the face of IPL). We have been together for the last three years. He's also a family friend."

Wadia continued to hope for a miracle in Modi's case and hoping he would be back in the fold for IPL 4, "I hope he gets a fair trial. Hopefully things will work out and he will be back soon. Hopefully he would get a fair trial from the government of India and the BCCI."
