In the wake of the Indian cricketers' protest of the WADA whereabouts clause, the ICC Chief Executive has spoken about a cricket specific drug testing.

Virender Sehwag spoke on behalf of his fellow cricketers stating that Indian cricketers were not willing to disclose their location leading to the controversy of the WADA imposed rules.
However, Haroon Lorgat has stated that the ICC will approach the WADA to perhaps design a cricket specific drug law if the clause could not be relaxed or done away with.
The proposed discussion in the ICC over the WADA clause and the non compliance by the Indian cricketers were deferred from September to October.
