New Zealand fast bowler, Shane Bond, believes that New Zealand are in with a very good chance of winning the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean.

Bond was optimistic of New Zealand's chances despite the fact that New Zealand won a tight fisted contest against Sri Lanka in the opening match of the tournament.
Bond stated, "The challenge is just to play our best cricket on the big days and we've done that so far but there's still a long way to go."
Singling out the likes of Nathan McCullum, New Zealand captain, Daniel Vettori, and Scott Stryis, Bond spoke of New Zealand's strengths, "I guess we've got a well-balanced side, we've got depth in bowling and batting so I suppose that's why other teams recognize us as a threat in this tournament."
