While insisting on the need to have fun despite the enormity of the task ahead of them, Australian coach Tim Nielsen also hinted that Brett Lee could figure in Australia's plans at the Oval.

With reverse swing being a factor should the weather stay hot and dry, Nielsen believes Lee should be in the playing eleven if he is fit as he believes, Lee is the best Australia have in terms of exploiting similar conditions.
While the curator at the Oval is not looking deliberately for reverse swing, Australia believe that conditions would be good for the ball to get scruffed up because of the bounce and allowing an exponent of the reverse swing like Lee to come into the frame of things.
But it will not be easy. Australia are spoilt for riches in that Mitchell Johnson has hit form, Ben Hilfenhaus and Peter Siddle have been preferred as next in line and Andrew Hilditch even spoke about Stuart Clark, one of the heroes for Australia at Headingley in the fourth Test, may still have to battle for a spot.
This could only mean that not only will Australia juggle the option of spin with Nathan Hauritz, but Stuart Clark will also have competition from Brett Lee.
The Australian coach spoke of the occasion as being momentous as the finals of Australian Rules. Nielsen however insisted that he would want his team not to get overawed by the situation in the Ashes with the series decider hanging at the Oval. Instead he wants to make it a memorable experience, one that players will recall having enjoyed.
