Haroon Lorgat, the ICC Chief Executive, has denied any drastic changes to either the ODIs or the Test cricket format.

Lorgat was responding to queries during the nomination revelation for the ICC awards about Test cricket being reduced from five day format to a four day format, as proposed by the ICC President, David Morgan.
Morgan had stated that that would be the least tampered version of Test cricket that would plausibly attract more spectators and fans to the game.
However, Lorgat passed it off as just one of the many brainstorming thoughts thrown up.
He also stated that there was no immediate threat to the fifty over format even though the ECB had decided to change their domestic format to a forty over game, stating that what worked in one country could not be generalized across the sport.
