The BCCI appears to have seriously erred in disbursing financial remunerations. While it has announced hikes in fees for the Ranji Trophy, set price for the ex-ICL cricketers for their IPL chances, and even granted the football grant, they have forgotten to pay the India women cricket team.

The Indian women cricketers competed alongside their male counterparts in the ICC World Twenty20 held simultaneously in England, UK, in 2009. However, apparently while the men's team travelled luxury style, the women was given an arduous travel through via flight travels, barely making it to the opening ceremony.
Now it has come to light that they have not been paid yet for an entire year. While the BCCI is announcing structural changes, they would do it better to ensure the compensation as well as payment reached the cricketers on time.
Meanwhile, the prize money for the Ranji Trophy has gone up the two crore rupees which means that the other finalist would be entitled to one crore rupees, and the semi finalists to Rs.50lakh each.
Also the cricketers who earlier associated themselves with the ICL but later accepted the BCCI amnesty are now eligible for the IPL 2010 but their salary cap would be Rs.20 lakh.
More importantly, the BCCI has also granted Praful Patel's wish by granting the All India Football Federation (AIFF) a Rs.25 crore grant applicable over a period of two years.
