Even as the world continues to share in the mourning of the death of Huma Akram, wife of Wasim Akram, an investigation has been ordered into her deteriorating health and subsequent death.

Pakistan Prime Minister, Gilliani, has issued an order probing into the possibility that Huma Wasim Akram was not diagnosed and treated properly by the hospitals in Lahore while the hospital maintain that Wasim failed to follow advice not to move Huma in her prevailing condition.
Wasim Akram was apparently not satisfied with Huma Akram's treatment and felt that possible negligence is diagnosing her condition led him to take her to Singapore. But of course she did not survive the journey, despite the efforts of the Apollo Hospital in Chennai to try and save her.
