After the ODI series was lost to Australia, the Pakistan Cricket Board chief is having second thoughts about his choice of captain.

Pakistan failed to make any headway in the ODI series, with Ryan Harris picking up five-fors in consecutive matches in the third and fourth ODI to ensure that Pakistan remained on a duck in the series, with Australia winning the series and leading by 4-0 and looking for a whitewash with the fifth and final ODI on Sunday.
PCB chairman, Ejaz Butt, is also in an explanatory mode after watching his own effigies being burnt by angry Pakistan cricket fans.
In Butt's opinion, Pakistan were left with little choice but to go with Mohammad Yousuf as Pakistan's captain after Younis Khan quit in the midst of the match fixing allegations. Stating that Pakistan would have preferred a younger captain, he also felt that the tour of Australia was not the right baptism.
Now even as Yousuf admits that despite his batting being affected, he wants to continue as captain, another chapter looks set to be written in Pakistan cricket.
