Shoaib Mallik, standing as skipper after Shahid Afridi was banned for two Twenty20 matches over ball tampering charges in Australia, is hoping Pakistan can put all the malice behind them - he says he has against Mohammad Yousuf - and move on after having learnt their lessons.
Pakistan now have a limited opportunity at getting warmed up for the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 with the two matches against England and it would be great to put behind past disappointments with the IPL 3 as well as the fizzle down under.
