A series win generally earns them incentives but instead, Pakistani cricketers recently got reprimanded by the cricket board, which told them in clear terms to improve their behaviour.

It all started with Mohammad Asif's antics in the just concluded ODI series, which Pakistan won 2-1. The talented fast bowler dismissed Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene and started taunting the batsman, who was on his way to the pavilion. Subsequently, match referee Javagal Srinath called Asif and reprimanded him for his behaviour.
Pakistan Cricket Board also took note of the incident and hinted it won't tolerate indiscipline. So the players have been told that they should improve their on-field behaviour or face penalties.
Team manager Talat Ali said
The Asif incident was unnecessary. The players have been told they must behave immaculately on the field and follow the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct.
He reminded the players that they were representing their country and any such behaviour would bring disgrace to their nation.
