Call it the fall out of victory but suddenly Pakistan do not feel the need to bring Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan back into the picture for Pakistan's tour of England.

The new Pakistan captain, Salman Butt, and the Pakistan team management have apparently conveyed to the selection committee and the Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB ) that they would like to maintain the status quo of the team in England that played against Australia for Pakistan's Test series against England.
Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan were speculated to be on the cards for a recall after Pakistan lost the first Test against Australia. But the team management is of the view that it would be easier to manage and mould a young team rather than deal with the seniors and preconceived problems. Plausibly the logic is that the team management has been able to press their claim after beating Australia after losing to them thirteen times in Tests on the trot over a span of fifteen years.
Whether that faith is justified, only time will tell.
