Pakistan are no mood to relent. They would rather have Abu Dhabi and Dubai host their matches rather than watch the 2011 World Cup awarded to the trio of India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh alone.

While issuing a legal notice to the ICC, Pakistan has now written to the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports) through the President of the ICC Disputes Resolution Committee, Michael Beloff.
Citing mutiny in Bangladesh, civil war in Sri Lanka, and the moving out of the IPL following the terror attacks in Mumbai in November last year for India during its ongoing general Lok Sabha elections, Pakistan are alleging that the ICC made the move to take Pakistan out of the equation at a meeting that was not in a position of authority to do so. It stated that other boards were using the situation to their advantage in a bid to discriminatorily alienate Pakistan.
