The newly appointed Pakistan chief selector spoke all the right words about his role in shaping Pakistan's future.

Mohsin Khan has categorically stated that no Pakistan cricketer will be picked in the future if he is suffering from injury and is found guilty of indiscipline, irrespective of his seniority within the team.
Dubbing Twenty20 for the decline of Pakistan's cricket, Mohsin stated he will put forth an appeal to pick two separate Pakistan cricket teams, one for the ODI and Tests and and entirely different one for the Twenty20 format. It will be interesting how soon it will be implemented with Pakistan beginning another chapter with the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean where they go as defending champions.
Mohsin spoke thus, "I believe in having a separate Twenty20 team, because it has hurt our Test performances. Both forms require a completely different approach and mindset and need to be kept apart. Twenty20 cricket has already damaged our Test and one-day performances. I will be suggesting to the cricket board to have a separate Twenty20 team."
Mohsin, who was previously married to yesteryear's Bollywood actress, Reena Roy, certainly has lofty ideas, "I think we need to introduce certain level of accountability and responsibility in the team. The coach, captain and selectors should be ready to accept responsibility for poor performances."
