Shahid Afridi's ball tampering is not going down well at a time when Pakistan cricket is going through one of its lowest phases.

Pakistan senators do not want Afridi to represent Pakistan for another four international series because in their opinion, Afridi had done tremendous damage to the image of Pakistan cricket.
However, the demand of the senators is unlikely to be met as clarified by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Ejaz Butt, who stated that since Afridi was already serving a two match Twenty20 ban as per the ICC, Afridi can challenge additional punishment and further tarnish PCB's image.
Senator Haroon Akhtar commented, "If he (Afridi) bites the ball like an apple there’s lots of problems behind it. If you don’t take action this will happen again. The team lacks discipline and you got to rectify the problem."
