As England are being speculated to undergo a team overhaul for the fifth and final Test of the Ashes at the Oval, the hopefuls brace themselves as KP's chances of comeback are setback.

It is now official. Kevin Pietersen will play no part in the ODI series against Australia that follow the Ashes. The news was confirmed after KP was seen being discharged from hospital a second time after his Achilles Heel surgery, this time over complications over his stitches and infection in the scar tissue.
Meantime, the race heats up for the selection of Mark Ramprakash or Robert Key for the final Test with the ECB not ruling out that the former is indeed being considered. Marcus Trescothick has stated that neither has he been contacted regarding the fifth Ashes Test nor is he too keen on taking up the role.
It appears that the team training may not be the team selected, such is the intense battle for the Ashes.
