The mystery over the absence of Pakistan cricketers on the IPL 4 auction list continues with the BCCI feigning ignorance and the Pakistan Cricket Board claims it is being kept in the dark.

While the official word from the BCCI is that no Pakistan cricketers' names were forwarded in keep with their board, the Pakistan counterparts suggest that the BCCI has left them in the lurch by not responding to their repeated queries about the status of the cricketers' participation.
The Pakistan Cricket Board officially are now stating that the BCCI failed to revert to their queries about not only the status of the cricketers after they missed the previous two seasons under extenuating circumstances but also, about the rules of the IPL that stated that the board's No Objection Certificate ( NOC ) was required.
While the BCCI has gone ahead and announced the names of the 416 cricketers, there has been no single Pakistan cricketer on the list and the BCCI have not gone beyond stating that no name came forth. It would have been interesting though had the Pakistan cricketers applied because during the IPL 3 auctions, the BCCI pooled in the names. But there were several suggestions that the Pakistan cricketers were deliberately ignored by all the IPL franchisees at the auction itself under one premise or another.
Now it seems it is a deadlock in dialogue that will see Pakistan cricket miss out on the IPL yet again.
