If there is one thing Ricky Ponting does not appreciate more than being beaten by England, it is salt being rubbed into the wounds, as a member of the press found out.

The Australian captain was certainly not amused to have England's success pointed out to him, after losing the second ODI in succession in the NatWest series.
Ponting reacted angrily to a question on what he thought of the shift of power between the Ashes rivals, rather the "Anglo Australian" cricket. "If that’s what you think take a look at the head to heads and see who has got bragging rights. ODI, Tests and Twenty20. Tell me who has got the bragging rights?" He demanded.
There is no doubt about Australia's success but perhaps it is time to take stock of England as well. After all England won the ashes of 2009, the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean by beatign Australia in the final and now looking to make a clean sweep of things in the ODI series.
