Ponting Wary of Roles for Johnson and Watson

--> -->

The Australian captain is unsure of the roles of the two key players in his Test team ahead of the series against the West Indies.

Ricky Ponting is confessing that he is concerned about how to use Mitchell Johnson and Shane Watson, given their recent form.

Johnson had a terrible time with the new ball in England during the Ashes 2009 and Ponting is not sure if Johnson is confident enough to be thrust into that role again.

On the other hand, all rounder Shane Watson is posing new problems for the captain because of the good form he is in. Watson's opening role has meant that Ponting is unclear about the role in which to use Watson the bowler and of how much of a workload would be too much for Watson himself.

Interesting conundrums for the captain, for sure!
