One interesting aspect of the one day international will not be the players on view. Rather it will be a rule that may throw a captain or two off his mark.

Watch out for the Power play rule that will come into play when India take on England in Rajkot on Friday morning. In an attempt to inject new life into the one day game, the ICC has amended its power play rule that will see the batting side decide the second or the third power play.
It will be another element of surprise because fielding teams have generally shown a tendency to get through their two power play overs of five each after the first ten. The confusion now will be interesting as who decides which team takes the call on the second power play and which team will sit back and decide when to take it. Another bit of confusion that will perhaps cause a few rifts in the dressing room because the captain of the batting side will not always be in the middle to take the call himself.

Did anyone say more drinks breaks and slow over rates? Wait and watch on this one.
