Never mind the religion. Prayers are being offered across both countries for the crucial ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 semi final encounter.

Havans and poojas, namaz and offering of prayers, fans are resorting to all measures to make sure that their team is off to the most auspicious of starts in the India v Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 semi final match set to get underway tomorrow in Mohali.

While the Muslims in Pakistan are offering namaz, the Hindus in India are offering prayers through pujas for India. What is important that while it may seem like a religious divide, it is not as pronounced as the bout of patriotism that appears to have strongly struck with both countries on the eve of this encounter that is being seen as a catalyst for the opening of fields in other levels across society.
