There is an uneasy calm on the surface. One must not mistake the seemingly still waters that everything is fine. There are uncomfortable issues here, one of which Preity Zinta is warding off for the moment.

The Bollywood actress has vehemently denied that the Mohali team of the IPL franchisee has been sold to Hero Honda. There were reports circulating in the last couple of days that one of the franchisees was washing its hands of their team. And fingers pointed to the Kings XI Punjab. But Zinta has firmly stated they are not in it to sell.
That only time can tell. Apparently the discontent within the franchisees over the introduction of two more teams and the shuffle of the cricketers for the IPL 4 auction is something they have repeatedly taken up with Lalit Modi for want of clarification. And the fact that there is going to be some reorganizing to do before IPL 4 is not going down well with the franchisees.
After all the IPL is not just a game. It is the business of profit sharing.
