While the Rajasthan Royals franchisee owners are vociferously furious over the BCCI's decision to axe their team along with Kings XI Punjab for the IPL 4 season, the Kings XI Punjab franchisee owners have been surprisingly mute. It is another matter that the franchisee was up for sale with only the Bollywood actress interested in the IPL venture anymore.

However, belatedly, Preity Zinta surfaced on Twitter to post a message that not only is appreciate of the KXIP fans who are angry with the BCCI move but also, claims that the KXIP team is above board and there may be hope of a comeback.

Read her Twitter feed from Monday:

Thanks for all your support for Kings XI Punjab! If you know you are right and done nothing wrong then god and the forces of the universe have to support you! We shall overcome!

But while Preity has acknowledged the support, the Kings XI Punjab have not come out in public to really voice their thoughts or express any emotion over the decision. Does it have anything to do with the fact that there really seems to be no interest amongst the various owners to salvage it even if it is ultimately about selling the enterprise?
