Preview: Red Hot Redbacks Take on Equally Pipping Hot Royal Challengers Bangalore

After a battle between struggles, the Champions League Twenty20 2010 moves onto two high profile teams, some by points, others by design.

This would be the veritable mother of all battles. The South Australian Redbacks have proved their intentions to win the CL T20 and the Royal Challengers Bangalore have put their money behind some big names in international cricket to bag them the trophy. This then would not only be a key clash on the points table, but a game to watch by itself.

A win here would mark the third for the Redbacks who will confirm their place in the semi final and leave the game wide open for the rest. On the other hand, a RCB win will propel them to equal points with the Redbacks, virtually shutting out some of the other teams in the competition.

But by themselves, it will be a case of frayed nerves and strong egos as the Redbacks face perhaps their real test against the might of RCB's heavyweights in Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid and imports in Jacques Kallis, Ross Taylor and Cameron White, each capable of winning the match on their own.

For the Redbacks, without their imports - Kieron Pollard and Shahid Afridi, it is a decisive disadvantage. Having said that, the Redbacks have proved they are capable of holding their own, and with Shaun Tait leading the attack, they will hope to blunt the RCB batting.

All round, it should be a good game between two strong teams. Which team will bring out their best and which one's hungrier?
