The ICC Champions Trophy gets underway after the Diwali break, the festivities are over and it's back to some action...South Africa has come into the game against Sri Lanka as underdogs, with an 87 run defeat to the Kiwis in their opening game the Proteas face a must win situation to keep staggering around in the Champions Trophy... Sri Lanka on the other hand plays its final league game and a win will confirm a spot for them in the Semis.

It doesn't look as if the Proteas will manage to save their spot...England in Group A has a minimal chance to make it to the semi's, only aspect to make it there would be some heavy mathematical calculations provided they win their game against the Windies... And it seems though the Proteas will make the first team to fall out in Group B...With the match in progress the South African's have their face towards the wall finding them-selves in dire state at drinks break with only 51 runs on the board and three wickets down...I see no chance for their recovery considering the piercing Sri Lankan attack...It will be a miracle if the African nation can clinch victory from here, or else they bid farewell to the Mini World Cup.
