Quirky, Queer and Controversial Shane Warne

Shane Warne has plenty to dole out and in turn, receive. Now it appears his partying ways have never really ditched him and his quirky, er, queer side, could him play for England!

Boogey man

Warne, the legendary Australian leg spinner, now commentator in the ongoing Ashes, has been seen enjoying himself at nightclubs, raising the heckles of the media that is not amused by his antics especially when his ex wife, Simone, is seen taking out the garbage while he parties with the likes of Jade Jagger, daughter of Mick Jagger, Geri Hariwell, Natalie Imbruglia amongst others.

Queer Offer for the Straight Guy

But on the one that matters on the cricket pitch, Warne has received an unusual proposal from comedian Alan Carr who is encouraging Warne to play for England by marrying him which would entitle him to play for the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board). It's an offer that Warne did not outright dismiss or get offended, but simply laughed off that he would have considered it if he wanted to still play the game.

The British stand up comedian, who is rather ignorant about the nuances of the game, believes Warne could fit into the England side since England seems to be doing better than Australia in recent months.
