The third ODI of the India South Africa series was essentially a dead rubber but by no means, was interest in the game lacking.
Yet Ravi Shastri and Daryll Cullinan found that interesting debate. While Cullinan stated that South Africa had 11 official languages and eighteen unofficial languages, bringing their total to nineteen, Ravi enlightened Cullinan that India has 1652 languages and dialects, to which Cullinan inquired what language would then work while in India. He also stated that he knew he would not want to get lost in India, because asking for direction in a nation with so many languages may be tough.
He did reveal he did learn more than a couple of words including "pani" (water), "namaste" (greeting) and "shukriya" (thank you).
