The Royal Challengers Bangalore thought they had their game in place. Turns out, they have not, after all.

The RCB team of the IPL thought they could do without their three foreign players who are also named in the other foreign teams participating in the Champions League Twenty20 2010. Jacques Kallis would be playing for the Warriors from South Africa, New Zealand's Ross Taylor for Central Districts and Australia's Cameron White for the Victoria Bushrangers.

Playing by the IPL rules, the team who wished to employ such players would need to compensate their home team by $200,000 per player. Unwilling to pay with such huge amounts of money, the RCB decided to stick with their England imports, Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan.

However, on learning upon the England players' unavailability due to their national duty against Pakistan, the RCB have had a change of heart and will now have to strategise a new plan to incorporate the foreign players to compensate for their loss. Which loss is greater?
