Richard Pybus To Become KKR Coach, Robin Singh For MI

If reports from sources are to be believed, Richard Pybus has pipped original frontrunner, John Wright, to the post of the Kolkata Knight Riders coach.

South African, Pybus, is expected to be announced as the IPL team - KKR's coach, defying original stories that Wright was likely to take over and perhaps Sourav Ganguly may regain the captaincy to form another Wright-Ganguly pair like for team India.

Pybus, who also coached Pakistan, has now virtually sealed the deal with the Shah Rukh Khan owned IPL team.

The decision follows the sacking of John Buchanan who was fired in the aftermath of the disastrous IPL 2 season in South Africa for the team.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians, owned by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, will have Robin Singh in the coaching staff to add to Jonty Rhodes, the fielding coach, Shaun Pollock, who double up as mentor, with Paras Mhambrey as the coach's deputy.
