It yet again happened the same way...They may not have managed to reach the finals in style but they certainly proved why they are the world champions.
The Australians had lost to the West Indies in a league game so this final was a litmus test for them... And as expected the final turned out to be an one sided affair...The Aussies won the triangular series in style...They had crashed the Indians out of the tournament in the last league game and this time it were the Caribbean’s who were on the receiving end.
It was indeed a good all round performance by the Aussies...They batted well and the balling department portrayed a superb display of some great balling...Certainly proving their supremacy over the other cricketing nations.
