After much speculation, Sachin Tendulkar has put to rest rumours of his joining Middlesex for the Twenty20 tournament in UK later in the year.

Tendulkar will not be joining Australia's Adam Gilchrist for representing Middlesex, a move that has terribly disappointed the county. But they cannot but agree with Tendulkar's opinion.
Tendulkar apparently weighed the decision and then, turned it down with a view to prolonging his international career. He felt that the additional burden of playing in the UK would only hamper his efforts on that front.
