The Mumbai Indians v Royal Challengers Bangalore ended in a surprising post match presentation ceremony where Sachin Tendulkar did what some of the cricket followers thought was only right - sharing the Man of the Match with Ambati Rayudu.

The Mumbai Indians beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore rather comfortably in the end at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and the Mumbai Indians captain, Sachin Tendulkar, was declared the recipient of the Man of the Match award late in the night.
However Sachin Tendulkar had other ideas.
Many of the cricket viewers reckoned Rayudu had played an equally, if not more, part in fashioning the Mumbai Indians' victory with the bat, even outscoring the skipper at sixty-three runs to fifty-five.
Tendulkar has never been known to hog someone else's limelight. Although Tendulkar played a big part in the second victory for the Mumbai Indians in as many matches, he was quick to acknowledge that the Mumbai Indians were also aided greatly by Rayudu's innings.
When called upon to receive the award, Tendulkar pushed Rayudu forth beside him and announced that he felt, in his opinion, it was only right that he ( Tendulkar ) and Rayudu share the Man of the Match award. At the end of the night, it was a magnanimous gesture but there was nothing of majestic from Rayudu as well to deserve this kind of special mention and award from his MI captain.
