Sachin Tendulkar came back home after a most forgettable tour to the Emerald Isles. It was not that he could not perform at his best, rather he was not allowed to.
Poor umpiring decision saw him return with figures of five, six and seven respectively in the first three one day internationals before the Indian team management decided to surprisingly rest him. The umpires certainly needed it.
Now with the one day series completed with India winning 4-1, Tendulkar returns home despite that there is still a Twenty20 match to be played. But it is not a hasty plan as the team management has cleared it by saying Tendulkar was never supposed to be playing a Twenty20 international for India anyway.
For now, Tendulkar is has been restricted to the Mumbai Indians Twenty20 team and the captain was very happy with the team because he wanted South Africa's JP Duminy according to Nita Ambani herself.
