The Rajasthan Royals co owner and Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty, paid tribute to him, "Finally on twitter, the god of cricket himself. A big welcome shout for Sachin Tendulkar himself. Spread the word."
Other Bollywood celebrities who tweeted on Tendulkar's presence included Shekar Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sameera Reddy and Rahul Bose.
