The Pakistan captain were overjoyed by the show from his bowlers against Australia in the second Test. However, Paul Collingwood wants to be cautious before labelling the Pakistan bowlers as great.

Salman Butt called the trio of Mohammad Aamer, Umar Gul and Mohammad Asif as the best fast bowling trio, even talking them up in comparison with Glenn McGrath. However, ahead of the England Pakistan Test series, Paul Collingwood does not want to bloat them too much.
Collingwood feels that the Pakistan bowlers' profile was raised given the conditions they were bowling in and felt that the Australian bowlers would have done as good a job had Ricky Ponting, the Australian captain, decided to bowl first.
While Collingwood feels that the series against Pakistan is a good workout for the Ashes, he does not want to give the Pakistan bowlers more credit than necessary, remain cautious, and see if they can stand the test of time.
