After the Deccan Chargers' defeat to the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Deccan Chargers captain, Kumar Sangakkara, blamed himself and other foreign cricketers who make up the line up for not being able to help the Deccan Chargers across the line.

The captain is now contemplating serious changes to the team in a desperate bid to break their limp state of affairs as Deccan Chargers have hurtled from one defeat to another. The changes could involve larger scale decisions being made as the Deccan Chargers will have to fight all the way.

However, while the captain mentioned Cameron White, he also took the responsibility on himself for not making a greater impact on the fate of the Deccan Chargers who have been struggling yet again in the IPL, with their success in the IPL 2 season looking increasingly like a one off where they were able to exploit the conditions in South Africa magnificently.

While some have attributed it to the home jinx, the Deccan Chargers have not been able to come up with the combination of players who could be a deadly force in the tournament. It is not want for talent but rather the utilization of it that is hurting the Deccan Chargers rather badly. And unless they can wring in some inspired changes, the future is not too bright for the team from Hyderabad.
