Post his success against South Africa, India's enigmatic opener says he does not want to bat there at all and may even contemplate quitting the game.

Virender Sehwag may have had enormous success in the opening position, certainly giving India a dynamite start on several occasions. But Sehwag has reignited his passion and dream of representing India in the middle order, even imagining how his success would be had he batted in Sachin Tendulkar's slot in Test cricket, the no. 4 position.
Sehwag, the recent recipient of the ESPNCricinfo Test batting award, has also stated that he may hang up his boots after completing 100 Tests. He believes he may eventually bat in the middle order when Sachin retires.
Sehwag believes his way is the only way to play because many batsmen get out even when attempting a defensive shot. He believes there is a greater pleasure in going for a century with a big bang than merely taking it in singles as the Indian coach, Gary Kirsten, is said to have suggested to him.
In the meantime, the opposition had better fasten their seat belts. There are at least 24 more Tests to go.
