Speaking to a news channel, Shah Rukh Khan, co owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders did empathize with the Pakistan cricketers and called for time to call a spade a spade.

The Bollywood actor stated that obviously "there was a problem" with the Pakistan cricketers being picked but also, stated that there were huge stakes involved and similar threats to the Australian cricketers would have caused the same concerns at the IPL 3 auctions.
He only felt it would have been better to address these problems before the situation blew over. He also stated how he and Sourav Ganguly wanted Abdul Razzaq in their team but with the latter being injured, that was out of the question.
He also felt the whole situation could have been avoided had it been resolved before the auctions got underway.
He was also elated with the fact that he had a "Bond" (in an obvious reference to James Bond) in Shane Bond of New Zealand.
