Cricket aside, the Pakistan cricket circles are lending their influence to help raise funds for those affected by what is believed to be Pakistan's worst floods.

Shahid Afridi is amongst those cricketers who is helping raise funds via charity dinners and hopes his time in England will also help enhance those efforts, which he believes have been successful in Dubai.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is contemplating holding a charity match that will generate the much needed funds. The PCB released a statement as well to further concrete those thoughts, "The PCB is working on a proposal along with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to organise an exhibition cricket match for the benefit of the millions of Pakistanis affected by the devastating floods. Proceeds from the match would go towards the rehabilitation of families displaced by the worst floods in the country’s history."
It is expected that the match will most likely be one betwene Pakistan XI and and International team that may also comprise Indian and Sri Lankan cricketers.
