Shahid Afridi claled it unbecoming of a professional cricketer to attack another over such serious allegations as match fixing as Trott did with Riaz during the practice warm up.

Afridi stated that Pakistan could have pressed charges if they wanted to and even contemplated pulling out of the fourth ODI over the incident. However, he stated it was the largesse of Pakistan cricket and the pride of the cricketers to want to compete that stopped them from taking further action.
