Shane Warne opened up problems for himself when he first accused the Mumbai Indians captain, Sachin Tendulkar, of forcing a pitch inspection during the IPL 4. He then alleged that the Chennai Super Kings had forced the decision of which pitch to be used in their match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. And now with a spat against the Rajasthan Cricket Association Secretary Sanjay Dixit after the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Warne finds himself in sorts of trouble.

Firstly the BCCI brought Warne's angst to a halt by stating categorically in a statement that no captain was allowed to decide on the pitch preparation during the IPL and therefore, Warne's anger was misplaced and unjustified. The Mumbai Indians also reacted in strong words to Warne's comments regarding Tendulkar's opinion of the pitch.

Now the RCA, the Rajasthan Cricket Association, is contemplating further action after Warne supposedly text messaged Dixit on how the pitch should be prepared and told off. At this, Warne lost his cool following the Rajasthan Royals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore, apparently even calling Dixit "a cheat. It took the franchisee owner, Shilpa Shetty, to douse matters and tender an apology. However, that does not seem enough for the RCA.

Shane Warne's last match in Jaipur has certainly hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Warne's growing frustrations as the Rajasthan Royals, the IPL winners in the first season, have see sawed in the IPL 4 season and lost matches in recent run to steadily lose their way towards making the IPL 4's top four.
