A television channel has managed to gather footage from a match where Shoaib Mallik admitted his marriage to Ayesha Siddiqui long before his proposed marriage to Sania Mirza.

The former Pakistan captain will have found himself in hot water after Headlines Today channel exposed footage from March of 2005 when Mallik accepted congratulations from commentator, Arun Lal, for his marriage to Ayesha Siddiqui after Mallik himself alluded to being in the home town of his wife in Hyderabad.
The footage goes against the denials that Mallik has been pedalling ever since the Siddiqui family has cried foul over Mallik not going through with the post marriage formalities and refusing to acknowledge the marriage, let alone divorce her.
Sania Mirza, India's tennis ace, is either in denial or is well aware of the complications to want to be dragged into the mayhem. Mallik is yet to break his silence in view of the latest revelations.
Sania apparently took refuge in Mallik's friendship after allegedly being turned away from then seeming budding love interest, Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor, who has been linked to a string of flings including Mirza, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra. It was also perhaps the proximity of the friendship that led to the breaking up of the engagement to Sohrab Mirza.
Meanwhile, there are random protests in the region over the issue of Sania marrying a Pakistan citizen, as if the controversy following the cricketer and tennis player were not enough.
It may be more than the PCB Mallik will be contemplating a court case for. Apparently, Siddiqui's father has threatened to sue the Pakistan cricketer for attempting to enter a second marriage.
