Peter Siddle spoke candidly about the fact that perhaps not working as hard on his body has meant that he has not been able to sustain himself over longer periods of time. He even suggested that his body rhythm changed after bowling twenty-twenty-five overs and that he was now looking to work upon himself in order to have a prolonged career.

Siddle cited the example of fellow Australian fast bowler, Mitchell Johnson and how Johnson had worked on himself and therefore, has been consistently performing well for Australia while Siddle was riddled with back and shoulder problems.
