Although it would assumed that South Africa would remain unchanged after winning the first Test of the India South Africa series, there may be the possibility of one change rather than two.

South Africa are not taking any chances against India. Even though the talk emanating from the South African camp is that of India being under pressure to save face as the no.1 Test team, they do not want to give India an opportunity, gifted through their own imprudence.
It is with that reason in mind that South Africa have decided to bolster their squad for the second Test set to begin on Boxing Day at Kingsmead, Durban. Although no players have been dropped from the present squad, two players who were initially considered before the series were once again brought back into contention.
JP Duminy and Wayne Parnell were considered earlier but did not make the first Test squad. While Lonwabo Tsotsobe won the nod for the third fast bowler, his wickets column could well see him make way for Parnell. Ashwell Prince was named in the squad and while South Africa's batting has not raised question marks in the first Test, the South African selectors decided there was no harm in bringing JP Duminy into contention after the latter scored a double century for the domestic Cape Cobras team over the last weekend.
The team is expected to be pretty much the same, apart from perhaps the change of face for their third fast bowler as South Africa seem less likely to drop Paul Harris as the lone spinner for a four pronged pace attack, even in Durban.
