SRK and Aamir at Sachin's Sea Wind Party!

As expected the turn out at the Ambanis bash for Sachin Tendulkar at their residence in Sea Wind saw a galaxy of stars descend upon their home.

The rare coincidence of India becoming No.1 in Test cricket along with Sachin Tendulkar have just completed twenty years in international cricket gave the party at Mukesh and Neeta Ambani's residence in Cuffe Parade another reason to celebrate.

The bash with the theme "One man’s triumph is everyone’s celebration" also saw the Indian team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni attend as well as some of the Sri Lankan cricketers despite the loss of the series earlier in the day at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Tendulkar is also the captain of the Mumbai Indians team that the Ambanis own.

While there were Bollywood actors aplenty including Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukherji, Anil Kapoor, Raveena Tandon,Preity Zinta (who coowns the Kings XI Punjab team) amongst others, the men who stole the show were the Bollywood big wigs Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. The former attended the party with his wife Kiran, director Raju Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, of the movie "3 Idiots" that also stars R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.

While SRK, co franchisee owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, apparently read out a poem supposedly written by his daughter, Suhana, Aamir Khan is said to have rendered the words, "Khudi ko kar buland itna ki har takhdir se pehle khuda bande se khud pooche, bata teri raza kya hai."

Neeta Ambani presented a 16 year rewind as Sunil Gavaskar, Tendulkar's coach, Ramakant Achrekar watched on. The entertainment was not short as Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh shook a leg. Amongst the Bollywood stars shaking a hip included Sameera Reddy, Shamity Shetty (who left the Bigg Boss 3 house to attend the wedding of her sister, Shilpa Shetty who is a coowner of the Rajasthan Royals with her husband, Raj Kundra), Dia Mirza with Asha Bhosale also lending her melodious voice on the occasion of Tendulkar's grand success.
