St. Kitts Test: West Indies put India to the sword

Ramnaresh Sarwan dashed six consecutive boundaries in Munaf Patel's over in his 116-run knock. Opener Daren Ganga scored a watchful 135 runs. The two centuries put the host West Indies in a commanding position in the third test against India at St Kitts. The Indies were 420 for 5 by tea when the rain put off the second day's play.

Earlier West Indies resumed their innings from 207 for one. India badly needed some wickets to put pressure on the hosts . Sarwan did not give them any chance. He went on a rampage to put the hosts in a strong position. Daren Ganga supported him with his careful batting.
