Steven Finn may be the new kid of the block for England. But his constant comparisons to Australia’s bowling great, Glenn McGrath, has the England coach riled up.

Finn impressed enormously in the series against Bangladesh and there is a great deal of speculation over whether he will be England’s weapon against Australia on the Ashes later this year. However, Flower is not amused by the fact that the similarities between Finn and McGrath, both tall and lanky, and deadly accurate with the ball.
Andy Flower spoke up about Finn’s own individuality and of the fact that the youngster was a grounded individual with talent of his own. He also stated that Finn needed to undergo more physical training in order to stand up to sterner tests ahead. It seems like while Flower is painting Finn, all of twenty-one years, in a fine light, he also does not want the young England fast bowler to be surrounded with a great deal of hype and expectation.
