Two captains spoke out about Andrew Flintoff in a rather positive light. However, Andrew Strauss had a predecessor telling how Flintoff needed to be handled.

Strauss stated that Andrew Flintoff looks in good shape for the fifth Test at the Oval and that he would feel a lot better knowing Flintoff made the line up.
He knew Flintoff was disappointed to not be a part of the fourth Test at Headingley but stated that the decision was made in the interest of medical opinion.
Michael Vaughan spoke about how Flintoff was difficult to handle because Flintoff needed a morale boosting talk, not one that put him down. He also spoke about how Flintoff always considered himself a batting all rounder as he felt batting was his true strength.
Flintoff will be hoping for one final lung burst as he plays his final Test tomorrow and would want to make it as memorable as the Ashes of 2005, if not more.
